Fabulous Fascinators

If you don’t know what a fascinator is . . .

Don’t worry! You’re not alone.

Fascinators are headpieces. Unlike a regular hat, they provide no protection from the sun or rain. They act like a large fancy hairclip.

Purely decorative, fascinators can be attached to a band or clip. Traditionally they are worn on more formal occasions when a hat is part of the dress code.

Fascinators are made from the same materials as hats, simply on a smaller scale. Feathers, flowers, beads, tulle, butterflies and more can be found on fascinators.

Some are huge!

While others are simply a large hairclip

My version of a fascinator is in between the two sizes. They are a ton of fun to design and even more fun to wear.

There is no need to limit fascinators to formal occasions. I wear one when ever the mood strikes me!
