Welcome to my Studio!

Hi! I’m Annabelle the owner and creator of Insights and Whimsy Studio. There are two parts to my studio, the jewelry portion and the sculpture portion. I have been selling jewelry since I was 10 years old. It’s a bit of a life long passion.

I’ve only started selling sculptures this past year. I started sculpting with clay in high school, but just never had the courage (or enough inventory) to start selling it anywhere. This year I decided to just jump right in and start marketing my works at as many art shows as possible.

It’s been a wild year. I graduated college in May 2023, and immediately started working farmer’s markets to sell my jewelry. I had my first art show in September at Monte Sano in Huntsville, Alabama. The festival was a lot of fun, the music and the food were great. Of course it rained buckets that first day, but people still came out. I got a lot of great advice and plenty of compliments on my work. (No, I didn’t sell anything.)

After that first show things were better. I had a blast at the other four shows I’ve done this year; Bluff Park, Carrollton, River Clay, and Moss Rock. And I finally decided I needed my own website!

It’s been a journey to get to this point already and I’m excited for what’s ahead!
